Zachary Erb and
Connor Cayer led the way with three event wins each as the men's swimming team downed Roanoke 158-104.
Erb and Cayer opened the day with a win in the 400yd medley relay.
Alessandro Nani and Andrea Cirario combined with the duo for the victory with a time of 3:57.09.
Kris Schultz got in on the fun as he shattered his personal best ith a 2:01.59 mark in the 200yd freestyle.
Christian Carroll ad Cirario followed Schultz with a one-two finish in the 100yd backstroke led by Carroll's personal best as he tapped the wall with a time of 59.84 seconds.
Jeffrey Prevost and
Alessandro Nani swept the top spots in the 100yd breast stroke as both set personal bests. Cayer picked up the victory in the 50yd freestyle with a mark of 23.88 seconds and turned around after a short break and took home the top spot in the 100yd freestyle and Caroll tapped in just three hundredths of a second behind in second.Â
Erb and Cibrario swept the top spots in the 200yd back stroke led by Erb's time of 2:17.77. The Eagles continued to roll as Nani, Schultz and Prevost locked out the podium in the 200yd breast stroke while the trio of Erb, Nani and Schultz swept the top three spots in the 200yd IM to lock up the team victory.Â
The Eagles are back in action on Jan. 18 at Virginia Wesleyan at 1 p.m.
