BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Bridgewater College Men's Tennis team fell to Southern Virginia 6-1 on Tuesday in nonconference action.
The Knights swept the doubles action, but BC's best fight came at No. 2 as the duo of
Corey Beshoar and Henry RIner climbed out of a 2-5 hole and had a break point to get the set to 5-5 before falling 4-6.
The Eagles best fights came from Riner and Beshoar again in singles play. Riner fell 2-6, 1-6 at the No. 5 spot. Beshoar got BC on the board at the top spot as the junior rolled in the opening set to a 6-1, 6-3 victory.
The Eagles are back in action Oct. 25 at Immaculata.
