BERRY, Ga.- The Bridgewater Equestrian team competed in a pair of meets over the weekend.
BC opened the slate with a 6-4 victory at Sewanee on Friday. The Tigers took a 3-2 after fences.
Willow Wright (78) and
Piper Harris (84) accounted for BC's scoring.Â
BC dominated the flat portion of the meet as Jimenia Garcia Nunez (72) got the Eagles started as sher earned her point.
Margaret Brown (95) followed suit and a perfect 100 from Wright evened the team score.
Mackenzie Bingham's 91 ended up being the decider as it was enough to edge out the final ride by Sewanee to lock up a 6-4 victory.
On Saturday, BC fell to Berry in a tight 5-4 decision. The Eagles took a 3-1 lead over fences with points from
Sabrina Forbes (84),
Madeleine Granger (85) and Wright (85). Berry took home four of eht eifve points on the flat to secure the team victory. Wright's 84 was BC's lone point.
