GREENSBORO, N.C. - Bridgewater College men's swimming showed out at the ODAC swimming championships with broken school records, multiple NCAA B cut considerations, NCAA invited times, and an ODAC Swimmer of the Meet recipient in the event's conclusion Saturday at Greensboro Aquatic Center.
The men proved to be strong competitors logging seven broken school records, five NCAA B cut considerations, four first-place finishes, and three NCAA invited times. Zachary Erb was also awarded ODAC Swimmer of the Meet for the second straight year and the 400-medley relay became the first relay in school history to record an NCAA B cut consideration.
In the team standings, Bridgewater took fourth place with a total of 477.5 points. Washington & Lee were the ODAC champions with 861.5 points.
In the final day of competition, Erb won the 200 breast in 1:58.53 getting his third NCAA invited time of the meet. Christian Carroll placed 2nd in the 100-freestyle setting a new program record and getting his NCAA B cut in the event as well with a 44.93 final time. Connor Cayer finished behind him with a 5th place finish of 45.91.
Kaleb Erb shined also, setting a new program record in the 200 butterfly of 1:53.27 placing 5th in the event.
The men finished the meet with a second-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay and setting a new program record of 3:02.15 with Christian Carroll, Andrea Cibrario, Connor Cayer, and Zachary Erb.

Day 4
Zachary Erb won ODAC Swimmer of the Meet for the second year in a row.
Zachary Erb won the 200 breast in a 1:58.53 getting his 3rd NCAA invited time of the meet. Allesandro Nani placed 8th in the 200 breast with a 2:08.09. Kris Schultz won the B final with a 2:06.77 with the best time for his final swim placing 9th.
Andrea Cibrario finished 4th in the 200-backstroke finishing off his career with a great final swim of 1:54.41.
Christian Carroll placed 2nd in the 100-freestyle setting a new program record and getting his NCAA B cut in the event as well with a 44.93 final time. Connor Cayer finished behind him with a 5th place finish of 45.91.
Kaleb Erb set a new program record in the 200 butterfly of 1:53.27 placing 5th in the event. Colton white won the B final with a best time of 1:55.07, Brian Kustowski placed 16th with a 2:05.96.
The men finished the meet with a second-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay and setting a new program record of 3:02.15- Christian Carroll, Andrea Cibrario, Connor cayer, and Zachary Erb.
The men finished 4th with 477.5 points and the women finished 5th with 310 points.
Day 3
Finals
In the 200-medley relay; Christian Carroll, Zachary Erb, Kaleb Erb, and Connor Cayer broke the program record and meet record with a time of 1:28.67. That time earned the relay team an NCAA B cut consideration making that the first relay team in program history to accomplish the feat, along with being crowned ODAC champions in the event.
Kaleb Erb placed fifth in the A finals in the 100-yard butterfly for a time of 50.13. Andrea Cibrario finished 9th with a 51.32 with Ben Beaudoin finished 10th in a 51.35
Zachary Erb continued to impress, securing the ODAC title in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 53.76. That time marked Erb with an NCAA B cut consideration and an NCAA invited time. Allesandro Nani finished 6th in a 57.28. Ben Beaudoin finished 15th in 1:00.55 and Alex bae finished 16th in 1:01.84
Christian Carroll landed a scorching time of 49.13 in the 100 back along with securing an NCAA B cut. Andrea Cibrario finished with another 9th place finish with a 52.71
Colton White finished 9th in the 400 IM with a lifetime best time of 4:09.78. Brian Kustowski also hit a lifetime best time of 4:15.99 finishing 12th.
Kris Schultz went for a personal best of 1:44.99 in the 200 freestyle, placing 11th.

Prelims
Kaleb Erb broke the 200 free record leading off the relay last night (1:44.55)
Zachary Erb got his invited time and B cut in the 200 IM- 1:48.64. Later in the finals, Erb broke his previous invited time from the morning session to land a blazing time of 1:47.61. Erb placed first in the event while also shattering his previous program record last season. He stands with the conference record.
Finals
In the 200-yard freestyle relay; Kaleb Erb, Connor Cayer, Zachary Erb, and Christian Carroll opened up the finals session with a strong second-place finish and just one second behind leading Washington & Lee. The relay team clocked in at 1:21.47, a program best.
Christian Carroll and Connor Cayer powered through in the A finals in the 50 free to claim second and third place times. Carroll broke the program record with a time of 20.44. Cayer followed milliseconds later for a time of 20.98.
To close out the night, Bridgewater landed a second-place time in the 400-medley relay with Christian Carroll, Zachary Erb, Kaleb Erb, and Connor Cayer. The men clocked a time of 3:16.67, setting the new program record.
Day 1
800 freestyle relay; Kaleb Erb, Colton White, Kris Schultz, and Andrea Cibrario finished fifth with a time of 6:59.26.
