AMHERST, Va. - The Bridgewater College Equestrian team fell to No. 1 Lynchburg in the championship round of the ODAC Single Discipline Championship on Saturday.

BC opened the meet by taking two points over fences. Madeline Granger's 86.0 led the way as Sabrina Forbes claimed the other point for BC.

Lynchburg led 3-2 heading to the flat and kept rolling. Willow Wright claimed BC's lone point on the flat with an 81.5 as the Hornest calimed four more points to secure their third-straight ODAC crown.

The Eagles now await the decision of the NCEA Selction Comittee to see if they will qualify for the National CHampionhips. BC has multiple wins over teams ranked ahead of them in the latest rankings.
