BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Bridgewater College Director of Athletic Media Relations Leyton Pullin '22 announced Coree Nicely '26 has been named Assistant Director for Athletic Media Relations.
 
Nicely recently graduated from Bridgewater College in 2026 with a bachelor's degree in health and exercise science and a minor in coaching.
 
A native of Clifton Forge, Va., Nicely brings a background in athletic communications after serving two years as a member of Bridgewater Athletics' student workforce. During that time, Nicely contributed to game day operations through photography, videography, graphic design and more while solidifying the role of public address announcer for the Eagles' men's basketball, women's basketball, and women's volleyball programs during the 2025–26 season.
 
In addition to his work in athletic communications, Nicely was actively involved in student-athlete leadership and engagement. He served as the student-athlete representative for men's tennis on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) for two years before joining the SAAC leadership team as the social media coordinator for the 2025–26 academic year.
 
A four-year member of the Bridgewater College men's tennis team, Nicely earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors in 2026 while competing at the collegiate level. His experience as a student-athlete provided valuable insight into the daily operations of collegiate athletics and strengthened his passion for supporting student-athletes through communications and media.
 
In addition to his collegiate experience, Nicely coached tennis at the Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC) in College Park, Maryland, where he instructed players of various ages and skill levels while helping develop technical, tactical, and personal growth on and off the court.
