EARLYSVILLE, Va. - The Bridgewater men's cross country team picked up a ninth place finish at the South Region Preview 8k Saturday morning.

Gavin Diehl was the first Bridgewater runner to cross the finish line finishing 29th in a field of 155 runners with a time of 27:25.2. Next up was
Grayson Jacquez just ten spots behind Diehl with a time of 27:47.8.

Alex Gomez finished in 75th with a time of 29:03.0 and
Brandon Adamson finished with a time of 29:30.2.

Rounding out the Bridgewater runners were
Asher Kite,
Lucas Hornbaker, and
Milton Blandburg with times of 30:00.7, 31:14.4, and 31:54.0 respectively.

The Eagles will get some rest next week and will be back on the course at the Richmond Invitational on Friday, Oct. 2.
