Eagles Fall To 0-2 With Loss To Methodist

FAYETTEVILLE, Va. - Methodist blanked Bridgewater College, 13-0, Saturday, dropping the Eagles to 0-2 on the season.

The Monarchs scored three times in the bottom of the second inning to take the lead and then added four more runs in the fourth to lead 7-0.

The Eagles managed just six hits in the game. Six different players - Jacob Grabeel, Jarrett Biesecker, Brett Jones, Phillip Herber, Luke Paczewski and Cameron Stanley - had one hit.

Bridgewater returns to action next weekend for four games. The Eagles host Messiah on Saturday for a doubleheader and on Sunday DeSales visits the Bridgewater campus for two games.
