Eagles B Team Places Fifth at Stevenson

UPPERCO, Md. – Bridgewater College men's golf sent a B team to compete in the Stevenson Fall Invitational, with the Eagles placing fifth.

The event will not count towards the Eagle's NCAA statistics, with BC's B team placing fifth out of six in a field that included four "A" squads.

Eugene Dillon and Matthew Sengul each carded an 80 to tie for fifth place overall.

Dillon's back nine featured a birdie on the par-4 12th hole, and finished off with four pars on the final five holes. Sengul birdied the par-5 2nd hole, and was just 2-over through nine.

Hayden Moore was next up for the Eagles with an 89. He made a birdie on the par-4 11th.

Blake Sawyer shot 90, including a run of four pars over a five-hole stretch on the back half.

Taylor Ferguson turned in a 98 for the Eagles, who had a team score of 339. Stevens Tech (321) won the team competition, followed by the A and B squads from host Stevenson.

Bridgewater will wrap up its Fall season on Monday and Tuesday at the O'Briant-Jensen Memorial in Greensboro, N.C.
