The Bridgewater women set a new mark for dual meet victories in 2019-20, going 11-5 before a fifth place finish at ODACs. Olivia Heeb-Wade and freshman Ryan Cunningham were both named to the All-ODAC team.

Bridgewater had three All-ODAC selections in 2018-19, including the program's first men's honoree in freshman Austin Bacon. Kelley Hilliker and Olivia Heeb-Wade earned All-ODAC recognition in leading BC to a fourth place finish at the conference meet.

Heeringa taught elementary P.E. for 12 years in Arizona and coached swimming at Gilbert High School in Phoenix.

She resides in Harrisonburg with her husband Jon, who is the pastor at Harrisonburg First Presbyterian Church on Court Square, and their two sons Ian and Eric.
