Ellen Hicks is an assistant athletic trainer at Bridgewater College.

Hicks has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Bridgewater College, and a Master of Education degree from Northwestern State University in Health Promotion. She was certified by the Board of Certification in 1996 and is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Medicine as an Athletic Trainer, Pharmacy Technician, and Emergency Medical Technician.

She has 11 years clinical athletic training experience; the last 10 of those years were with RMH Rehab Services. She has also spent the last nine years working for Rockingham County Public Schools at Broadway High School as the Head Athletic Trainer.

Hicks resides in Port Republic and primarily works with volleyball, women’s basketball, and track & field.
