FOREST, Va. - Bridgewater College senior Blake Mann has been named the ODAC Scholar-Athlete for men's lacrosse, while also making his first All-Conference team.

Mann was a second team All-ODAC selection, along with becoming the first BC men's lacrosse player to win a major conference award.

He has maintained a 3.95 GPA as a health and exercise science major, was named to the VaSID Academic All-State team last year, and was this year's Bridgewater Geisert Scholar-Athlete award winner.

On the field, he currently ranks third in the ODAC in goals (50) and seventh in points (61). He also added 19 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers.

He was named to the USILA National Team of the Week earlier this season, after scoring six times vs. Southern Virginia and then four times against Randolph-Macon.

Mann graduates as Bridgewater's all-time leader in goals (161) and points (189).

Washington and Lee attackman A.J. Witherell headlines the 2018 All-ODAC Men's Lacrosse awards as the playmaker repeated as the ODAC Player of the Year. Lynchburg College mentor Steve Koudelka earned ODAC Coach of the Year laurels from his peers, while Roanoke attackman Garritt Schwarz received ODAC Rookie of the Year recognition.
