BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Recently graduated starters Kevin Metzger and Blake Mann will be joining the Bridgewater men's lacrosse staff as volunteer assistant coaches for the 2019 season.

Metzger will be working with the goalies and defense, while Mann will work with the attack and offense.

Metzger was the Eagles' starting goalie as a junior and senior. For his career, he was 15-14 with a 10.63 GAA and a save percentage of 54.3 in 34 games played.

His 344 career saves is second most in program history.

Mann graduated as Bridgewater's all-time leader in goals (161) and points (189).

Mann was a second team All-ODAC selection last spring, his first All-Conference honor. He achieved a number of new milestones for the program, including the first CoSIDA Academic All-District, VaSID Academic All-State and ODAC/Farm Bureau Scholar-Athlete award winner.

"I am thrilled that both Kevin and Blake will be able to join our staff for the upcoming season," said head coach Mic Grant. "Both were outstanding captains who brought quality leadership to the program over their four years here. I am looking forward to their input and assistance as we prepare for the 2019 season."
