LYNCHBURG, Va. - Bridgewater College was unable to muster offense Saturday night as the Eagles dropped a 2-0 decision at Randolph College.
The WildCats took the lead just before haltime on Evan Blow's goal in the 43rd minute.
Randolph held the 1-0 advantage until the 71st minute when Gabe Krueger added an important insurance goal.
Randolph held a slim 12-11 edge in shots and an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks. Bridgewater keeper Mark Collins finished with four saves.
The Eagles will close out their regular season Tuesday at home against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins. Both teams will enter the contest with 3-4 conference records. Tuesday's outcome will help determine the seedings for the conference tournament.
