Sean Killion joined the Bridgewater coaching staff for the 2018 season as a graduate assistant.
2018 was a record year for the program as Bridgewater reached its first ODAC championship game. The Eagles earned the third seed with a 6-3-1 conference record that included a 2-0 win at #5 Lynchburg. They defeated Ferrum at home and then beat #10 Lynchburg in the semifinals. The team earned a new high of five All-ODAC selections while Thomas White earned All-Region honors and both Quentin Boric and Matthew Pagano made the Scholar All-Region list.
Killion spent the previous two seasons as an assistant coach and goalkeeper coach at St, Mary's College of Maryland. Killion worked as the goalkeeper coach for both the men's and women's team and was also involved with recruiting.
Prior to his time at St, Mary's, Killion was a volunteer assistant and goalkeeper coach for the men's soccer program at Christopher Newport University.
Killion also has coaching experience at the high school and club levels.
Killion played soccer at CNU and was the starting goalkeeper during his junior and senior seasons. He was an All-USA South Conference selection as a junior and was a team captain during his senior season.
Killion graduated from CNU in 2014 with a bachelor's in communication studies and a minor in business administration.
