Men's Swim Moves Up to Sixth at ODAC's

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Two Eagles competed in individual finals and BC set two school relay records, at Saturday's ODAC swimming championship finals.

Austin Bacon lowered his own school record in the 400 IM, swimming 4:23.04. His fifth place finish was the highest placing for a BC male at ODAC's in the two years of the program.

Benjamin Dillon placed 15th in the event, in 4:55.93.

Dillon, Tito Alcazar, Bacon and Raphael Stanek broke the school record in the 200 medley relay for the second time in a day, placing seventh with a time of 1:48.14.

Dillon, Alcazar, Stanek and Ben Williams set a school record in the 800 free relay, placing eighth in 8:24.73.

Bridgewater moved up two spots and is tied for sixth in the team competition with Emory & Henry.

In Saturday morning prelims, Williams set a school record in the 200 free, placing 19th in 2:05.72. Alcazar was 22nd in the 100 breast (1:07.29).

The meet will conclude on Sunday with the 1650 free, 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly and 400 free relay.
