Women's Swim Loses to Randolph-Macon

BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater College women's swimming team fell 112-68 to Randolph-Macon on Saturday in Nininger Pool.

Olivia Heeb-Wade just missed the school record in the 800 meter free, winning the event with a time of 10:06.08- 0.14 seconds off the program mark.

She would later win the 400 free, in 4:55.75.

Zoe Moore added an event win in the 200 breaststroke, with a time of 2:58.95.

Genevieve Young placed second in the 50 free with a time of 30.74, and teamed with Amanda Nesselrodt, Moore and Rachael King for a second place finish in the 200 medley relay (1:54.42)- a race where four different relay squads were separated by under 2.5 seconds.

Bridgewater (4-3, 2-2 ODAC) will hold a third straight home meet on Friday night, vs. Ferrum and Southern Virginia.
