Moore Named To Academic All-District Team

Briana Moore was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District 5 first team.

BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Bridgewater College senior Briana Moore has been named to the CoSIDA Google Cloud Women's Basketball Academic All-District 5 First Team. 

Moore, who was named to the All-ODAC women's basketball first team earlier this week, received the CoSIDA Academic All-District honor for the second consecutive year. Moore was also named the ODAC Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year earlier this week.

Moore averaged 16.9 points and 5.3 rebounds for the Eagles this past season. She shot 45.3 percent from 3-point range to rank No. 8 in the Division III stats. Moore finished her career with 1,419 points, ranking fifth on the Eagles' all-time scoring list. She made 164 3-pointers during her four years to rank No. 3 all-time in the record book.

Moore was joined on the Academic All-District team by two other ODAC players - Taylor Blevins of Emory & Henry College and Miracle Walters of Guilford College.

Moore is now eligible for consideration for the Academic All-America Team to be released in mid-March. Moore was a first-team Academic All-American selection a year ago.
