Moore Named To Times-Dispatch All-State Team

BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The postseason honors continue to pour in for Bridgewater senior Briana Moore. The Richmond Times-Dispatch named Moore to its Division II-III All-State team released Wednesday.

Joining Moore on the T-D All-State team were Virginia Union's Shareka McNeill, the Division II-III State Player of the Year, Virginia Wesleyan's Jayla Harris, Southern Virginia's Katie Garrish and Christopher Newport's Jessica Dagulh.

Moore, one of 10 finalists for the prestigious Jostens Trophy, averaged 16.9 points per game to rank second in the ODAC. She connected on 45.3 percent of her 3-point field goal attempts to rank No. 7 in the nation. She finished her career with 1,419 points, the fifth-best total in Bridgewater women's basketball program history.

Moore also earned recognition on the CoSIDA Google Cloud Division III Academic All-America first team, the All-ODAC first team and the D3hoops.com All-South Region third team.
