Bartley Earns WGCA Academic Honors

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. –
Bridgewater College junior Jesse Bartley has been named a Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar.

The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced Tuesday with a total of 1,097 women's collegiate golfers recognized. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team is a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.

Bartley was a second team All-ODAC selection this year after ranking eighth in the conference in scoring average (85.3).

The athletic training major had seven top-10 finishes, including the final three events of the season.

She carded her second straight round of 79 to place sixth at the Bridgewater Fall Invitational. In the spring, she was named ODAC Player of the Week after shooting 83-39=122 over 27 holes to win the Shenandoah Shootout, and placed seventh at the ODAC championship.
