Women's Lacrosse Earns IWLCA Academic Accolades

The Bridgewater College women's lacrosse team earned both team and individual academic honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).

The IWLCA named 312 schools across Division I, II, III, and NAIA as IWLCA Zag Sports Academic Honor Squads for the 2018-19 academic year, including the Eagles.

To qualify for this prestigious honor, a women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.0 or higher team GPA for the academic year.

The IWLCA also honored 650 student-athletes from 172 different institutions on the 2019 IWLCA Zag Sports Division III Academic Honor Roll. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

Two graduated Bridgewater seniors made the list- Anna O'Hara, a health & exercise science major, and Phoebe Hart, a psychology major.
