Bridgewater College

Freddie Roberts is entering his second season as an assistant coach with the Bridgewater College tennis programs.

Both Bridgewater teams made the ODAC postseason in 2020-21, with the men winning a first round match vs. Emory & Henry. Canon Secord was named first team All-State for the third time and ODAC Player of the Year for the second time, Matthew Gordon was the men's ODAC Scholar-Athlete, and a combined five Eagles earned All-ODAC recognition.

Roberts saw action at every singles spot on the ladder except No. 1 during his four-year career with the Eagles. He posted a 33-34 overall singles mark and a 46-34 overall record in doubles play. As a sophomore he was named to the All-ODAC doubles second team at the No. 3 slot.
