Eagles Win Third Straight With 5-1 Win Over Greensboro

GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Bridgewater College Eagles won their third straight contest with a 5-1 victory Friday afternoon over Greensboro College at the Greensboro tournament.

Abby Dehoff continued her scoring binge as she and Krissy Snyder each scored a pair of goals for the Eagles. Dehoff has scored two goals in each of the three games during Bridgewater's current winning streak.

The Eagles put several shots on goal early in the game, but the contest was scoreless until Dehoff scored off an assist from Anna Theisen in the 25th minute to put BC on the board.

Dehoff found the net again in the 43rd minute with an unassisted goal to send the Eagles to the half with a 2-0 lead.

The Pride cut the deficit to 2-1 early in the second half on a goal by Tiffany Walters, but the Eagles responded 11 minutes later with three goals in less than three minutes to put the game away.

Nikole Blackwell put the Eagles up by two when she scored an unassisted goal at the 64:56 mark. Less than a minute later Snyder found the back of the net to give BC a 4-1 lead. Snyder scored again at the 67:40 mark, this time off an assist from Melanie Waters, to make the score 5-1.
