Women's Soccer Program Plans Annual Prospect Day

BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Bridgewater College women's soccer staff will host its annual Prospect Day on March 8, 2014.

The Bridgewater Prospect Day is designed for the serious soccer athlete who has an ultimate goal of playing collegiate soccer. The Prospect Day gives the players the opportunity to experience a collegiate training session.

The camp is limited to 40 players and is open to interested athletes in grades 9-12. The BC staff will evaluate and instruct players on their technical, tactical, physical and psychological performance and decisions.

This is the fifth Prospect Day hosted by the staff and the BC coaches have used the session to identify future recruits for the program.

The 2013  Bridgewater women's soccer team turned in another solid season with an 11-8-1 overall record and a 7-4-1 conference mark. The Eagles defeated Virginia Wesleyan in the opening round of the ODAC tournament to advance to the semifinal round for the second straight season. The 2012 team posted a 12-7-2 record and played in the ODAC Championship game for the first time in program history.
