    Sophomore Kaylee Kubisiak turned in the distance double, winning the 5,000 meter run and the 10,000 meter run to earn Women’s Athlete of the Meet honors and lead the Bridgewater Eagles women’s track and field team to a runner-up showing at the 2014 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women’s Track and Field Championships at Roanoke’s Bast Track.

  • Stevens and Flynn Earn Regional Coaching Recognition

    Head track and field coach Shane Stevens was named the South/Southeast Region Women’s Head Coach of the Year and distance coach Brian Flynn was tabbed as the region’s top men’s assistant coach as the Eagles took home a pair of the coaching honors dealt out by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in a release on Monday afternoon.

    Head coach Shane Stevens was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Coach of the Year and the Eagles claimed four event championships as the Eagles women’s track and field team claimed the program’s first indoor conference championship on Sunday at the Boo Williams SportsPlex.

    The Bridgewater Eagles women’s track and field team officially opened up the 2013-14 season on Thursday at the Liberty University Kickoff, but a number of distance competitors on Wednesday evening led the way for the Eagles at the meet at the Tolsma Indoor Track.
