GENEVA, Ohio – Amber Celen qualified for her second final of the weekend, running the second fastest 100 meter prelim time at the 2017 NCAA outdoor championships.
Celen won her heat in 11.98, which was the second-fastest time of the day behind Misericordia's Oniesha Clarke (11.91).
Yesterday, Celen had qualified for the 200 meter final, after making the finals in both events at the 2016 outdoor championships.
She earned her seventh career NCAA All-American honor by placing third in the long jump yesterday, and now has the opportunity to add two more tomorrow. The 100m final will be at 1:30 p.m., and she will contest the 200m final at 2:40 p.m.
