The women achieved a 3.34 cumulative team GPA. To be considered, a team must have at least a 3.00 cumulative team GPA. A total of 184 women's teams were honored.
Ariel, a health and exercise science major, and Jackson, a liberal studies major, earned individual All-Academic honors. To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, a student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30 and must have either competed in an NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Championship or finished the regular season ranked in the national top-50 in an individual event or ranked in the national top-35 in a relay event on the official NCAA Descending Order List.
Ariel qualified for both the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships. She finished 11th in the 3,000 meters at the NCAA Indoor Championships and was named an All-American after her seventh place finish in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the NCAA Outdoor Nationals. The rising senior was also named the ODAC/Va. Farm Bureau Insurance Indoor Scholar Athlete of the Year and Academic All-District by CoSIDA.
Jackson, a rising senior, competed at the NCAA Outdoor Nationals and finished 18th in the 5,000 meters.
