Eagles Place Fourth at Home Meet

BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater College women's cross country team placed fourth with 123 points at the Eagle XC Challenge. James Madison won the meet with 15 points, followed by Washington & Lee with 62 points and Eastern Mennonite with 110 points.

Calista Ariel led the Eagles with a sixth place finish in the 4k (15:10.1) and was the top Division III finisher. Classmate English Jackson finished 10th (15:25.1) and was the next top Division III finisher. The next Division III runner behind Jackson placed 16th.

Lynsey Taylor ran a 17:28.9 for 30th, followed by Ali Hill in 55th (19:35.5), Kacee Hooker in 65th (20:49.9) and Savannah Blake in 68th (21:24.4).

The Eagles return to action on September 14 for the ODAC Preview in Roanoke.
