Carroll joined the staff in March 2025.
Carroll comes to Bridgewater after recently graduating with a bachelor’s in cellular, molecular, and physiology biology from Christopher Newport in 2023. The CNU grad is currently working towards completing a master’s from Liberty in sport management.
Most recently, Carroll worked at CNU as the assistant volleyball coach for a year where Carroll assisted in scouting opponents, creating practice plans and game strategies, attending tournaments to recruit prospective student athletes, and coordinating team meals- as well as on-campus recruit visits and distribution of team gear.
At CNU as the assistant, Carroll was an integral piece to earning 2024 Coast-To-Coast Conference Coaching Staff of the Year, 2024 Conference Champions, and NCAA Regional Championship finalists in the Sweet Sixteen round.
Carroll also brings in experience as a volleyball camp coach for five years at Nike Volleyball Camp at Mary Washington, VA Juniors Volleyball Club, and at CNU.
In Carroll’s playing career at CNU, the three-year team captain was named Division III All-American for four years, 2019 Conference Rookie and Player of the Year, 2019 VASID Rookie of the Year, First Team VASID All-State for three years, First Team All-Conference and Region for four years, and conference tournament most valuable player.
Carroll achieved 5,000 career assists and 1,000 career digs.
