Bridgewater College

Sarah Irvine is the director of riding and head coach for theintercollegiate riding team at Bridgewater College.

As a rider, Irvine was awarded the Martini Rossi Rider of theYear and has won classes at the Washington International, theHarrisburg National and Lake Placid.

She a two-time ODAC Coach of the Year recipient withher team winning the overall title in 2009.

She has also served as president and board memberof the Southwest Hunter/Jumper Association and as trainer of thewinner of the VHSA Children's Hunter Equitation Finals for 2009 aswell as the winner of the VHSA Children's Jumper standings for2009.

Irvine has been inducted into the SWVHJA Hall of Fame.

In the 1980s, Irvine was part of the coaching staff at SouthernSeminary College (now Southern Virginia University) during itsreign as the IHSA National Champions.

Irvine holds a master's degree in education from the Universityof Virginia.
