Kim Lowry begins her third season as the head coach for theEagles’ women’s lacrosse team.
In 2012, Lowry helped lead the Eagles to four wins in conferenceplay, the program's highest conference wins total since1999.
Prior to her arrival at Bridgewater, Lowry was an assistantcoach for national power Hamilton College. Hamilton reachedthe national semifinals in 2009 and played in the Division IIInational championship game in 2010. Hamilton lost in the title gameto Salisbury, 7-6. Lowry coached three Division III All-Americansduring the 2010 season.
Prior to her stint at Hamilton, Lowry was an assistant coach atEndicott College in Beverly, Mass., during the 2008 season. Shehelped guide Endicott to a 15-6 record, Commonwealth CoastConference regular season and tournament title, and an NCAAtournament appearance in 2008.
Lowry played lacrosse at McDaniel College in Westminster,Maryland. The three-time team captain was selected to theall-region second team by the Intercollegiate Women's LacrosseCoaches Association and the Centennial Conference second team in2006. She led McDaniel in points and assists in a season threetimes. Lowry is ranked ninth in career points and fourth in careerassists at McDaniel. She was also the soccer team's captain in 2004and 2005.
Lowry made the Dean's List multiple times at McDaniel, where shegraduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in sports andentertainment marketing and management in 2005. Lowry minored insports coaching and sports journalism. She earned her master's inexercise science and physical education in 2008.
