Eastern Mennonite pulled away from a 27-27 halftime tie to defeat the Bridgewater College Eagles, 71-62, in ODAC women's basketball action Saturday afternoon.

Caroly Riley scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Royals. Ebony Dennis and Jolene Kratz each recorded double-doubles with Dennis scoring 16 points and grabbing 11 boards while Kratz scored 12 and pulled down 10 rebounds.

Jordan Burkholder led the Eagles with a game-high 17 points. Nikki Sydnor and Jessica Timberlake scored 12 points each.

Both teams are now 2-2 overall. EMU is 1-1 in the ODAC while the Eagles are now 0-1.
