STAUNTON, Va. - The Bridgewater College Eagles
women's soccer team got back on the winning track Wednesday when
they defeated Mary Baldwin College, 9-0.
Six different Eagles scored goals with Meghan Groos leading the
way with three goals to go along with one assist. Sarah Taylor,
Brittany Johnson, Ashley Andes and Krista Ready each added one goal
and one assist to the BC total.
Courtney Vaught and Jacey Kelley added one goal each while
Brittney Harris and Megan Ryan each added an assist.
Ready now has 17 career goals to move into fourth-place on the
all-time scoring list for the Eagles. Groos has nine career assists
and is now tied for fourth on the Eagles' all-time list.
The Eagles are now 5-1-1 on the season.
