BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - BC's Davonta Womack missed the finals by the slimmest of margins, at the 2018 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Womack ran 6.90 in the 60 meter prelims, which was good for a three-way tie for seventh place on the stadium board (top-8 reach the finals).
When official times were calculated however, Womack's 6.895 was just short of UMASS-Boston's Dominic Nda (6.894) for the last spot. Wisconsin-Whitewater's Parker Witt earned the seventh spot with an official time of 6.892.
Womack's NCAA sprint marked the end of the Bridgewater men's indoor season, with the outdoor calendar beginning tonight at Coastal Carolina.
