LA CROSSE, Wis. - Davonta Womack continued Bridgewater track's All-American streak, wrapping up the NCAA D-III outdoor championships in the 100 meter finals.
Womack, the third seed after prelims, placed sixth in the 100 meters with a time of 10.90. He was less than a hundredth of a second out of fourth place.
The junior became Bridgewater track & field's fifth different All-American in the past three years, joining Darin Council, Amber Celen, Katelyn Senger and Kristen Trice.
Womack earned the honors for the first time, after missing All-American status by one place indoors this winter in the 60 meters. He missed last year's track & field season after a football injury.
Womack's three points tied Bridgewater for 66th place overall in the team standings.
