BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Rookie Erin Dameron found the back of the cage three times in Bridgewater field hockey's 6-0 win over Ferrum in ODAC action on Tuesday night at Jopson Athletic Complex.

The Basics

• With the win, the Eagles move to 5-8 on the year and 2-2 in the ODAC
• The victory ends a two-game losing streak for Bridgewater after facing nationally ranked opponents Lynchburg and Washington & Lee
• Ferrum moves to 3-10 overall and 0-3 in the ODAC

How It Happened

• Bridgewater striked early when Claire Ashley found Emily Tyler for the tip-in goal just three minutes into the game
• Three minutes later, Dameron scored her first of the evening off a penalty corner assist from Daphne Daymude
• Dameron's second goal came in the second quarter, finishing off of her own rebound. She then found the wide open back post of the Ferrum net off an assist from Bekah Mercer to open the third quarter
• Senior Caroline Quigley joined the action in the third quarter, finding the right side of the cage thanks to a pass from Tyler
• Tyler concluded the scoring for Bridgewater in the fourth when she tipped a shot out of mid-air from Daymude

• Brooke Hamm saved both Ferrum shots she faced in the fourth quarter of play
• Dameron and Tyler both took four shots for the Eagles followed by Ashley with three
• With two goals against the Panthers, Tyler reclaims the top spot in the ODAC for goals scored with 15 on the year
• Bridgewater outshot Ferrum 17-7
