BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Caroline Quigley and Kelsey Hicks both found the back of the cage as the Bridgewater College field hockey team took down crosstown rival Eastern Mennonite on Saturday at Jopson Athletic Complex.

• Before the contest, Bridgewater honored seniors Claire Ashley, Brooke Hamm and Quigley. 

How It Happened

• After a scoreless first half, Hassmilyn Delarosa found a wide open Quigley directly in front of the goalkeeper. The senior sent the ball through with authority to put the Eagles up 1-0
• The Royals tied the game 12 minutes later on an unassisted goal from Elizabeth Longacre
• After the Royals saved a Daphne Daymude shot, Kesley Hicks intercepted the rebound for the game winning stroke

Match Notes

• Daymude paced Bridgewater with four shots on goal followed by Quigley with three
• Delarosa recorded her third assist of the season
• Hamm notched seven saves in goal
