BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater College women's soccer team defeated Randolph-Macon, 2-0, in the ODAC quarterfinals game, and will advance to the ODAC semifinals game to be played at home on Friday.

• Bridgewater advances to the ODAC semifinals match for the fifth straight year.

How It Happened

• After a flurry of Bridgewater chances in the early parts of the game, Skyler Daum was able to get the Eagles on the board in the 28^th minute. She buried a deep shot from the right side near the corner, beating the goalie high to the left side of the net.
• The Eagles would finish off the Yellow Jackets with a second half goal coming in the 67^th minute. Senior Hanna Randolph gathered a ball in the middle field and dribbled straight down the middle of the field. Just outside the box she sniped a shot left footed that went dead center just below the cross bar over the keeper's head to stretch the lead to 2-0.
• That's all BC would need to win the game.

Match Notes

• Bridgewater held the shot advantage 23-16, and 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.
• The Eagles backline of Maren Dougherty, Lexi Winkler, Lindsey Winkels and Sofia Carrera were excellent in shutting down most Yellow Jacket chances.
• Sydney Davis made six saves in net and recorded her fourth straight ODAC playoff shutout dating back to last year's ODAC title run.
• Daum led the Eagles in shot with seven, Randolph had four, and Alicia Keo had three.
