SALEM, Va. - The Bridgewater College men's basketball faced off with a top ten opponent in No. 9 Roanoke, ultimately falling 83-58 in Salem.

How It Happened 

• The teams stayed close to the start the contest with an Andy Pack three tying the game at 12-12 six minutes in
• Roanoke pulled away to take a 38-28 edge heading into the half. Rashod Smith was perfect in the first half, earning all eight points he attempted
• Bridgewater trailed by a similar margin throughout the second, unable to catch the home team and ultimately dropping their first ODAC contest

Match Notes

• Pack posted a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds 
• Smith added 14 points, five assists, three rebounds and two steals
• Zach Hatter contributed 11 buckets followed by Matt Ciccone with six
• Kellen Hodge grabbed five rebounds, four of which came in the second half
