Box Score SALEM, Va. - Bridgewater College shot just 26.6 percent from the field Saturday afternoon in an 84-41 ODAC loss to Roanoke College.
The Maroons scored the game's first seven points and never trailed. A layup by freshman Alec Topper had the Eagles within six, 12-6, with 13:22 left in the first half, but another 7-0 spurt by Roanoke increased the lead to 19-6.
Andy Pack's 3-pointer with 9:01 left in the first half pulled the Eagles to within 10 points, 19-9, but the Maroons outscored Bridgewater 27-10 during the remainder of the half to take a 46-19 lead.
The Eagles made just 8-of-30 shots in the first half (26.7 percent), including just 1of-10 from 3-point range. At the other end of the court, Roanoke blistered the nets at a 58.6 percent clip in the first 20 minutes.
Pack and David Oliveras each scored 10 points for the Eagles. Kasey Draper led four Roanoke players in double figures with 18 points.
Bridgewater finishes the regular season with a 2-5 overall record and a 2-3 mark in the conference. The Eagles now await the pairings for the upcoming ODAC tournament.
