WINCHESTER, Va. - The Bridgewater College field hockey team was eliminated from the ODAC playoffs in the quarterfinal round at Shenandoah.

Karinne Moyer scored BC's final goal of the season in the fourth quarter, as the Eagles fell by an 11-2 scoreline.

In the third quarter, Moyer assisted junior Caroline Quigley off a penalty corner.

The Hornets struck four times in the first quarter and took a 7-0 lead into halftime.

Brooke Hamm made six saves in the cage for Bridgewater. Claire Ashley also recorded her team-leading fifth defensive save of the 2020-21 campaign.

The Eagles conclude their season with a record of 4-6, while Shenandoah (7-3) advances to face top-seeded Lynchburg in the ODAC semifinals.
