SALEM, Va. – The Bridgewater College men's basketball fell in the ODAC Quarterfinals to top-seeded Randolph-Macon on Thursday afternoon in Salem.

• Final Score: No. 9 Bridgewater 56, No. 1 Randolph-Macon
• Records: Bridgewater (10-16), Randolph-Macon (25-1)

How It Happened

• Bridgewater struggled offensively out of the gate, not adding a point on the board until Alec Topper sank two free throws at the 15:00 minute mark. The Yellow-Jackets took their largest lead of the game at 22-7 before Liam Caswell was able to provide a spark with a three
• The Eagles slowly started to find their rhythm behind a dunk from Topper and back-to-back shots from behind the arc by Zach Hatter and Aaron Oates. The Yellow-Jackets continued to roll, however, and entered the locker room up 40-26. Both teams made four threes in the half while Randolph-Macon shot 51.4% from the field compared to Bridgewater's 30.8%
• Bridgewater was able to improve their shooting percentage from the field in the second half to 41.4% while also causing six Yellow-Jackets turnovers. The early deficit was too much to overcome though as the Eagles ultimately fell 80-56

• Topper had a team-high 15 points off the bench for BC followed by Shod Smith with 11
• Pack grabbed a game-high nine rebounds followed by Oates with five. Oates also contributed seven points
