2022 Bridgewater College Field Hockey Schedule

BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- The 2022 Bridgewater College field hockey schedule has been revealed by head coach Gina Stephan, which was announced on Monday morning.

The Eagles kick off the season on Sept. 1 with a home contest against Christopher Newport, which concluded last season in the national rankings. BC follows the season opener with a pair of road nonconference contests before coming back to Jopson for two games on Sept. 14 and Sept. 17 against Sweet Briar and Juniata, respectively and then round out the nonconference slate with three road games to close out the month of September.

Bridgewater welcomes Randolph-Macon to open the ODAC schedule on Oct. 5 and travel down Route 42 for a meeting with Eastern Mennonite on Oct. 8. Roanoke comes to town Oct. 12 before the Eagles hit the road against Lynchburg and Shenandoah leading up to a Homecoming Weekend matchup with Virginia Wesleyan on Oct. 21. The Eagles close out the regular season against reigning ODAC Champion, Washington and Lee, on Senior Day, Oct. 29.

Bridgewater is set for 16 contests in 2022 with seven of those games on home turf.

The Eagles advanced to the ODAC Tournament once again last season and extended their streak of making the postseason tournament every season.
