CU held BC without a field goal for nearly five minutes until Garcia removed the cap off the rim with a mid-range jumper. By that point Catholic had went on a 14-1 spirt and forced five BC turnovers. Corcoran followed he Garcia basket with one of her won to pull it back to within a possession at 42-39.
