BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- The Bridgewater College baseball team announced a change to its weekend schedule on Wednesday morning.

Originally scheduled to face Penn State Altoona in a doubleheader on Saturday, February 25, the two teams have decided to move the games up a day to Friday, February 24.

Game one of the twinbill is still set for 11 am with first pitch of game two set for around 2 pm, or 30 minutes following the completion of the first contest. 

The decision was made to change the date of the game due to potential for winter weather and cold temperatures in the area on Saturday. As of now, the team's scheduled nine-inning game with SUNY Oneonta set for Sunday at 2 pm remains unchanged.
