How it HappenedÂ
- Guilford had a scoring chance in the opening two minutes but thq Quakers shot sailed wide. BC had chances in the ninth minute with a corner kick and a series of throw ins, but the series netted no shots for the Eagles.
- Charles Schweinefuss faced his first shot on net in the 18th minute from Jake Carter and made the save. Gavin Kast got the first shot for Bridgewater in the 22nd minute as he missed it high and wide. Guilford took advantage of one of their many free kicks in the first half of the physical contest. Jesse Guzman took it and put it to the back of the net to make it 1-0 GC with just over 15 minutes to go in the opening half. Bridgewater looked to respond two minutes later on a free kick just beyond the box. Trey Widrick got a shot off but it was blocked on its way out of play leading to a corner kick. The Eagles could not find another shot during the exchange despite the series of throw ins that followed.
- Bridgewater had another flurry of chances in the final minutes of the half as Aidan Paul had a shot blocked leading to a corner kick. Off the second corner in the series Dicarlo Peredo-Torrico fired a shot but missed the crease. Peredo-Torrico got another shot and put this one on frame as Logan Walker made the save in the final minute of the half.
- Guilford had a look to extend the lead in the 52nd minute on a free kick following a BC red card. Guzman fired a shot but missed it wide. The Quakers put another shot on frame during the 63rd minute but Schweinefuss turned it away. BC went on the counterattack following the save and Paul got another shot off but missed the cage.
- BC started to build some momentum with 10 seconds left. Off a free kick Widrick fired a shot on target that Walker turned aside. Anthony Medrano had his chance, but had it blocked. Widrick had another opportunity that Walker turned away. The Quakers looked to counter but again BC flipped the field in their favor as Marvin Perez put a shot on goal and Kast had a chance at the rebound but missed the shot wide. Again, the Eagle offense kept it going as Widrick had another chance that Walker turned away. Finally, the BC attack broke through in the 87th minute as Peredo-Torrico found Riley Queen and the freshman scored again to tie the game. Bridgewater kept the pressure on with a corner kick in the final 90 seconds but could not put a shot on frame. Guilford flipped the field and put a shot on frame at the horn and Schweinefuss stood tall with the save.

Match NotesÂ
- Queen found the back of the net for the third consecutive game and the fourth time this season.
- Widrick led all players with four shots and was the only player to register more than two shots on frame for either team with three.
- Schweinefuss made four saves for BC while Walker made five for Guilford.
- The Eagles won the shot battle  13-7, but six of those came in the final 10 minutes of the game.
