Records: BCE (16-5 Overall), MWU (11-13)Â
How It HappenedÂ
-
Both teams played even for most of the first set with a few kill exchanges. The Eagles got off to a three-point lead with a strong offensive surge, but MWU returned with its own momentum surge. After the timeout late in the first, MWU slipped past to take the set, 25-22.Â
-
This time around, MWU started on a three-point streak to get the second set going and kept the lead the entire way. The Eagles would not give up easily getting to a two-point deficit late in the second. MWU held on to finish out the set, 25-23.Â
-
Although MWU had another strong start, the damage was not good enough as BCE quickly came back with a six-point streak going kill after kill. Once the Eagles took a three-point lead, they never looked back boosting to a 25-20 third set.Â
-
In the fourth set, BCE stayed close with MWU throughout the set. In the middle of the set, MWU went on a five-point streak which would be too much for Bridgewater to manage as the Eagles dropped the set 25-22.Â
