The Basics
Score: Bridgewater (BCE) 3, Ferrum (FC) 0
Record: BCE (19-6 Overall, 8-2 Conf.), FC (7-15 Overall, 2-8 Conf.)
How It Happened
-
The Eagles got off to a fast and strong start to the match, opening with an eight-point streak. That early lead would be all the Eagles needed to keep the Panthers away from threatening with any scoring surge of their own. The first set went to Bridgewater, 25-11.
-
Although the second set started out even between both teams, BCE found the edge in their attacking prowess throughout the set as it went on a six-point streak in the middle of the set, then the Eagles jumped to a massive 10-point hot streak to close out the set with ease, 25-7.
-
Ferrum in the third set would gain short bursts of momentum off its two timeouts in the set, but BCE did all it could to hold off any dominant attack coming from the Panther's side. Reagan Stoop would ring out the night with a bludgeoning kill to finish out the final set score, 25-10.
