LYNCHBURG, Va. - Bridgewater College women's swimming bested Randolph and Hollins at Michels Athletic Center Pool with a combined total of 387 points Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore McKenna Curry shined in the tri-meet between Randolph and Hollins as Curry took two individual wins in the 100-yard freestyle and the 50 free with final times of 55.95 and 25.99. That time in the 100 free would mark the seventh-fastest time in the conference this season.
Curry also placed third in the 50 butterfly with a 28.95 finals time. Bridgewater would go 1,2,3, and 4 in the event.
In the 200-freestyle relay, the Eagles again this season swept in the event. Then, also to help raise the score totals, the women's backstroke swimmers Whitney Speeks, Noa Steven, and Annabelle Dragan took 1,2, and 3 in the 50-yard backstroke with finals times of 30.94, 30.97, and 31.25.
