WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Bridgewater College women's tennis team picked up a 9-0 victory over Trinity (D.C.) and only dropped one game enroute to victory.
Bridgewater opened doubles play with 8-0 wins across the board.
Emma Nesselrodt and
Jolexie Whetzel teamed up for the win at the top spot, while
Ryan Roeber and
Emily Wylie picked up a win at the No. 2 spot.
Emma Staton and
Raea Crabill completed the clean sheet with the victory at the No. 3 slot.
Nesselrodt and Wylie opened singles action with 6-0, 6-0 victories at the top two spots. Whetzel, Staton and Crabill also offered up clean sheets at the No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 spots respectively. Roeber closed out the action by dropping the only game for the Eagles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at the No. 3 spot.
The Eagles are back in action on March 26 as both teams host Shenandoah at 3 PM.
